The fame monster Lady Gaga Biography, life before fame, and lifestyles.
Lady Gaga, or Stefani, was born on March 28, 1986, in New York City to entrepreneur Joseph Germanotta and telecommunication assistant Cynthia Germanotta and has a younger sister Natali Germanotta. When she was only four years old, Gaga learned to play the piano by ear. This musical prodigy was accepted into the Juilliard School in Manhattan when she was 11 but instead attended a private Catholic school close to home. Still, she never let go of her passion for music and continued to hone her skills. And her efforts definitely paid off as she wrote an original ballad when she was only 13 and had her first performance at a nightclub at the age of 14.

Acknowledging her natural talent in music, NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts granted Lady Gaga an early admission, making her one of 20 students to have been awarded this honor. But the singer would drop out of the prestigious institute to begin her music professionally. During this time, she worked three jobs, including one as a gogo dancer which definitely played as an advantage for her performances today. Gaga managed to strike a deal with Def Jam records but only for a short few months in 2005. The singer was dropped and began working independently for the next few years.
Career & Achievements
Lady Gaga had her first big break in 2007 where she worked as a songwriter, writing songs for many well-known artists such as The Pussycat Dolls and Britney Spears, under the record label company Interscope. This was thanks to RnB singer Akon who discovered the singer and immediately signed her under his label.
Discography

By 2008, Gaga had released her debut album The Fame from which two singles, Poker Face and Just Dance, had topped the charts. The latter single had also received a Grammy nomination and while Poker Face claimed the no. 1 spot on the charts in nearly every category in January 2009.
For the next few years, Gaga consistently pushed out new music releasing eight songs in her album The Fame Monster in 2009, followed by Born This Way in 2011 and 2013’s Artpop the sound of which was different from that of her previous albums. Although the singer showed promising versatility in Artpop, the audience did not receive it as well as did her previous works, leaving the singer feeling disheartened. But when her collaborative album of jazz duets with Tony Bennett, Cheek to Cheek (2014), won a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album, Gaga’s faith in her music and herself was restored. In October 2016, Gaga’s fifth album, Joanne, was her fourth album to reach No. 1 and top the charts in several around the world.
The year 2020 has proven to be a good year for the singer after all the music she put out was incredibly well-received by audiences worldwide. She first put out two singles, Stupid Love on February 28, and a collaborative single with Ariana Grande, Rain on Me, on May 22 which reached number one in the US charts. And finally, on May 29, Gaga released her album Chromatica, which subsequently became her sixth consecutive number one album in the country.
